okay, so here’s the plan, brittana & klaine fans.
starting — let’s say march 1 (to give people time to go shopping), we’re going to send a slew of super-gay postcards to the powers that be at glee,
demandingasking sweetly ;) for equal treatment for the queer couples.here is the address:
Glee
Studio 14
Paramount Studios
5555 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90038this post by smuchshypush will give you instructions on how you can send 10 postcards FOR FREE without even leaving your house (fuck. yeah.) by using premium postcard.
while that’s a good start, as she says, handwritten stuff will always have a bigger impact, so go to the store and pick up a handful of postcards as well if you possibly can, the gayer the better! rainbows, dolphins, girls loving girls, dudes loving dudes, idk elton john, whatever floats your boat.
the message should be clear and concise: that we want to see fair and equal representation for BOTH klaine and brittana (so no playing favorites, fandom!) on glee. i wrote a sample message in my original post that read “unicorns (and bicorns) are people, too. please give equal treatment to the queer couples on glee. love, the rainbow squad xoxo” but, y’know, feel free to use your own words! just try not to be too much of a dick (even if it’s warranted, it’ll just obscure the extremely valid message). you could also mention klaine’s impending anniversary or santana’s meta comment in “heart” about double standards.
now: reblog it like it’s hot and spread this shit like nutella. ;D
also, it’s super easy to make one’s own postcards with posterboard cut to size. the USPS says a postcard is:
- Rectangular
- At least 3-1/2 inches high x 5 inches long x 0.007 inch thick
- No more than 4-1/4 inches high x 6 inches long x 0.016 inches thick
another option is to buy preexisting postcards and to glue pictures on top of it, or add rainbow stickers and glitter of your own. we might as well make this fun and let our creativity shine while we’re at it!
and if you do send stuff in, take a picture and post it to tumblr with the tags “rainbow squad” or “threat level: rainbow” so we can share in the delight. now let’s make this fun! :DDD
Daily reblog. Get your postcard ready!
